In celebration of Sakura No Chaya’s 2nd anniversary, Transit General Office Inc. will reopen an antenna kiosk under the concept of “All Japan General Kiosk”. Here, we will sell different food, drinks and select items from across the country, including a popsicle from Fukuoka, rice crackers from Hokkaido, dry fruits from Wakayama and lemonade from Hiroshima, all of our past “wagashiya” favorites revitalized into something modern. You can enjoy the food and drinks while you are here in addition to the different souvenirs that will change from time to time.

Also in Tokyu Plaza Ginza, “Kuzefuku Shoten” will be selling a limited edition, salt flavored popcorn in addition to their sour plum, yuzu lemon and curry flavored popcorn. You can only get it here so why don’t you stop by?

Located in Shinsaibashi Osaka, Trasta Inc. will open a new hotel, “Stay in the City Amemura”! In this hotel, there are also 4 new restaurants, 2 of which have been produced by Transit General Office: “Sober Tiger Banh Mi Stand and Bar” and “Snack Kyu”.

“Sober Tiger Banh Mi Stand and Bar” offers everyone’s favorite Vietnamese soul food, banh mi sandwiches, from the opening to 1 in the morning. On the 1st floor, we will offer a take-out option from 11am, in addition to our Vietnamese restaurant and bar on the 2nd floor. Transit has also produced “Snack Kyu” with Kyoto’s leading graphic illustrating shop and gallery, “Vou”. Come and check it out!

On September 6th, Izama will move one step in front of everyone in releasing this fall’s first fall menu: “Aki no Kyushu no Obanzai Gozen”. Originally started in 2015, this 3 story, 9 course menu has been one of Izama’s best-selling meals, in addition to our other seasonal options in the spring and summer time. Each row is composed of a Japanese style cuisine that will really give you a sense of fall in Kyoto.

Starting August 24th to September 30th, modern Thai restaurant, Longrain will serve a limited menu item, “Fresh Eel with Thai Herbs”, broadcasted on the popular television show, “Goch ni Narimasu”! The eel is made with 3 types of Thai herbs, bananas, fish and chili sauce and coconut sugar. The mix of the different flavors, sweet, salty and freshness from the herbs will make your mouth water. This dish is limited to 10 items per night; you know you want a bite before it’s all gone!

Starting September 3rd, Glorious Chain Café will collaborate with Kobe’s popular cutlet sauce brand, “Oliver Sauce” in creating the “Wild Tonkatsu Sandwich” and “Tonkatsu Burger”. These 2 items will come with pickles, cabbage and rice on the side and will be limited to our Osaka store. We will also offer a special lemonade; motif of Oliver Sauce’s “Tonkatsu Lemon Sauce.”

In addition, during this collaboration, you will also be able to try 5 different sauces, have an unlimited amount of sauce with the one and only sauce sommelier in Japan.
