Barcelona’s popular seafood and paella restaurant, Xiringuito Escriba is serving everyone’s favorite dessert, Basque-style cheesecake but frozen: Frozen Basque between July 22 and September 30.
This popular dessert comes from the Basque region of Spain; where locals lightly burn the top of the cheesecake, giving it the sweet dessert flavor and rich cheese taste. This frozen basque is a blend of the cheesecake with tropical fruits sauce, a creamy milk powder and house-made basil granite.
