Kamakura’s popular Hawaiian Plate Lunch Store, PACIFIC DRIVE-IN opens in Lumine East on December 19, 2019!
In March 2015, Transit General Office opened a Hawaiian plate lunch drive-in café along the water of Shichirigahama, Kamakura. Since this day, this spot has become a popular spot for breakfast, lunch and dinner, where customers can relax and enjoy the beautiful view of the water.
This year, we are finally opening a second branch in Shinjuku, Tokyo! We’ve created an open kitchen with natural lighting and designs in addition to beautiful images of Hawaii all around the restaurant to give it that “aloha” feel. The interior designs have been produced by Tripster’s Kunichi Nomura.
The food menu consists of many of our favorite items: the popular garlic shrimp plate, mochiko chicken plate as well as original items for the Shinjuku location: pineapple and kale salad and lomi lomi salmon salad. We also have our original pancakes: seasonal pancakes and bacon egg pancakes that go perfectly with our housemade drinks! Finally, we also have Hawaii’s popular, Diamond Head Market & Grill’s original scones, created by Jun Nakamura. We even have take-out options so you can enjoy a delicious lunch plate outside, on a nice, sunny afternoon.
Face, has created original illustrations in motif of the surf culture; uniforms have been designed by Uniform Circus BEAMS in the theme of “preppy beach”.
